Sustainability in Action
How do we respond with wisdom to the challenges of this rapidly changing world and move towards sustainability?
Are you passionate about sustainability, but often feeling overwhelmed and powerless? Do you wonder how you can have an impact in your life and support the change we want to see in the world? Do you feel you might be ready for some action? Learn how to navigate the complexity behind your daily actions while aligning them with your inner self. Find your own contribution in shifting our society towards a sustainable future.
Do you want to obtain the tools necessary to apply strategic sustainability in your work, project or organisation and increase both your success and positive impact?
In this intensive one day training we will experience what sustainability in action could be and how to bring more of it in our life. We will explore questions such as: What can I really do? How do we put our care into constructive actions that energise us? We will use storytelling, inspiring examples and empowering conversations in order to empower ourselves and each other and to find the energy and strength to act as individuals out of care and compassion towards a more sustainable future.
We start with a bird’s eye view and explore several lenses to look onto the topic. In the morning we will dive into systems thinking and scientifically based sustainability principles (and explain why and how they work). In the afternoon we will connect these to your organisation/ project/ daily life and explore a practical tool to strategically plan towards sustainability. We will close the day with clear takeaways for the "low-hanging fruit" of your project, long term goals, and the pathway to get there.
This training is intended for anyone interested in sustainability and eager to learn how to bring sustainability into their work or daily life. Whether you work for an organization or business, are self-employed, or finishing your studies, you will leave feeling more clear about what sustainability looks like for you, and how you can bring it in your work and life.
- You will walk away from the training feeling motivated, informed and confident to integrate the strategic sustainability framework into your work.
- You will learn how to apply systems thinking in your own organisation / project, to scale up your success and positive impact.
- You will deepen your connection to and understanding of sustainability and the systems you are part of.
- You will build/expand your network of sustainability practitioners
